Hey Everyone,

I appreciate all of the help getting stocked up on .308 brass. Now I need to feed two of my AR's.

I need 6.5 Grendel brass or 7.62x39 to be converted. Grendel brass is much easier to form into what I am shooting but 7.62x39 or .220 Russian will do in a pinch.

Any 6.5 collecting dust in your shop?

I am also looking for a good .308 mold. Something around 170-180gr?

Thanks again!!

S.

Crickets........

6.5 Grendel is not a cartridge that has gained a big following in the casting community. I drank the AR coolaid a few years ago and would love to cast for them. Unfortunately, my casting skills are not adequate to the task of casting those tiny bullets. So, I am stuck with jwords for some of my shooting.

Steve - I've got 300+ 7.62x39 that I've deprimed and washed/tumbled with SS pins.

"I firmly believe that you should only get treated by how you act, not by who or what you are!!'

Wow! what a stellar idea!

Treat everyone based on their actions while ignoring race, gender etc.....

Doesn't sound that difficult does it?

PNW...as the constant tinkerer. The price of steel case 6.5 Grendel gave me the idea to use the "primed steel" with the necks scrubbed with a 7mm brush as a basis for my 6.5 Grendel brass for load development and loading.

Depending how your search goes...I will send you 20 or so for you to try. It worked out great. Only get one time use...but I have worked 2 accurate loads with this pulled, emptied neck scrubbed steel, LFCD'd steel.

Thanks for the offer.

I am not sure how well those would play. I shoot two, soon to be three, cartridges that are based on the Grendel. .224, .243 and soon .308.

I may be a little afraid to try steel cases in my Redding dies.
