What is the Marbles Auxillary Cartridge?

I have a Marble’s #159A that looks like that. I think it does adapt .32 Auto rounds for the .30-06. Also have a smaller one that adapts .32 Long Colt to .30 Remington.

I guess I should try them out some day. They were supposed to be for small game shooting in a big-game hunting camp environment. You’d pop a few squirrels or grouse to fill the pot while searching for that 72” moose. Contemporary reviewers of the things never seemed to be that much impressed with their accuracy. More an index of how desperate people could be to avoid handloading than a real asset.

If you figure out how to use the Quinetics Universal Shell Holder, I’d appreciate a description. I’ve tried it a few times, and it does kinda-sorta work, but the fiddling and jiggling needed to get the shell rims and heads in and out, and the occasional stuck case when the thing pops off the case on the pull stroke, make it more trouble than it’s worth.

Universal Shell Holder ... generally they universally hold all cartridges poorly ... In My Experince .
I couldn't get that sap-sucker to work for hell or high water either .
