So decided to hit up a cow pond I know has come nice grass and common carp and a few catfish in it. Their really fun to catch but due to trurlea and other critters it's a pin using regular methods. Not to mention their pretty spooky of normal stuff. So i figured I'd try some of the stuff the carp guys in the UK use. So made these things called bollies right. Basically their little hard flavored dough balls that are either boiled or cooked in some other fashion. They smell stupid good and are used with a hair right not on the hook.

All the us guys I talked to say you'll never catch a turtle because one they don't suck up the hook with the bolies like a carp or a catfish will. And their not very attracted to fruity things. I trap turtles as a side gig so all this made sense. So went out set up my rods and waited.

And you can see that strawberry bollie their in his gullet !

On the bright side the way the right is it almost always hooks what ever on the bottom lip so was easy to do a little doctoring and let the little guy go on ( it's illegal to harvest more than one a year in my state. I trap and relocate them but that's a different deal).

Back to it and my bite alarm on the other side of the pond goes off. Run over see the lines slacked real in aaaannnnd a bigger snapper !

283502 popped the hook out and let him on his his way. So yeah turtles like strawberry and pineapple apparently lol
