Been wanting to make one like this for a while, finally got the materials for the trigger mech but didn't have a complete piece of horse panel to make it as long as I wanted so had to shorten it. Doors can work either with both up on one down, wire trigger so it's about impossible for them to get though with out firing it. Guillotine doors make is easy to check from a distance. And I mead it more narrow and tall than wide so if fits in trails easier. Doubt I'll even bait it more than shooting a line of fish oil though it. Anyhow figured I'd share here with y'all, not sure if their many other trappers here lol

Not with a cage, coyotes I got footholds and snares. Too much trouble trying to get a yote In a cage. Too phonic by nature. No this is probably gonna be more for coon, possum and grey fox, mabye bobcat

These Cajuns use a large piece of PVC water pipe like 16'' about 4 ft long buried at a 1 o'clock angle in the ground.

Throw a piece of road kill in the bottom, Mr. Coyote goes in for the free lunch and Oops he can't get a grip or back out due too how his claws are made.

I was dealing with some racoons harassing my chickens and was trapping them. One rainy morning before work, I went out to check the trap and had an interesting creature. I counted... Black, white, black, white, black.... Darn. A skunk. A rainy dark morning and I have to deal with a skunk.

I grabbed an old sheet, held it up and approached the trap. After draping the sheet over the trap, I released the doors and walked away. Mr. Skunk ambled off into the dark.

You eat raccoons? Tried it once on the pit when I was younger, Really don't remember how it tasted, I know these bandits have a lot of glands that need removing.
