Haven't noticed any problems with gas here.
But we don't depend on fuel from the states.
Prices have gone up, $3.359, but that's expected going into summer.
I see people doing stupid things trying to hoarding gas.
To me, it's not china or the russians.
It's one of those environmental cults, probably with support from many in the gooberment, and big business.
It's just another way gooberment is showing the people "Who's the Boss"

No it was a hacker's delight, ransomware into the computers of the largest pipeline on the East Coast. Russian group responsible. Pipeline transports ~45% of the fuel going to the Eastern Seaboard - that's all fuel, gas, diesel, airplane fuel, etc. All running through that pipeline at about 5mph. So even now that they have it going again it will take days to make up the shortfall and get back to normal.

We are in MI - gas was $2.89 on Wednesday. No real issue here like in the East .So I can safely say that the only real "gas issue" I have seen is all the "gas" coming from Washington, Biden and his Socialist cronies.

Gas has gone up 1 dollar in 4 months time Thanks to Dear Leader who claims no inflation is happening.

That 1960's pipeline was built with manual valves before mal-ware was invented, Manual by-pass valves were also installed,But it takes personal to manually open these valves.

We are being played once again.

My thoughts exactly there is always redundancy with computer controlled valves and its not impossible to send someone out to rotate manually operated valves, unless there is no one to send.

Some of those valves are really hard to move if not exercised regularly.

I do think we’re being played just like the wohan flu scare.

We are living in the time of shortages. You'll never know what shortage looms next. If I were a conspiracy theorist, I'd think the powers that be are using it to control us with fear.

It may not be a theory......

Just like driving cattle down a chute, but by using fear rather than lumber. I use that analogy for more ways than just the obvious one. There is one chute that means the end for the cattle.

The sad thing is that the information is available and people are paralyzed with fear. It's just unbelievable.

The price is up here in Maine, but if there are shortages they haven't bee reported on the news. I'm not seeing anything in central Maine.

In middle TN. Gas went from low $2.59 to $2.89~. Some are $3.05
A very local station had NO reg gas and was pushing premium gas and NOBODY at the pumps!
Gas would have jumped up any way like it always does for Memorial Day weekend coming.

No issues here in the Northwest, of course, other than prices being around $3.20 a gallon. I filled up yesterday and while the station was busy, everything is busy these days with all of the refugees from California flooding into the area and causing lines for everything and destroying the housing market.

Funny, how a pipeline that serves the East Coast affects those in the NW NOT served by the pipeline. Geez, does that mean that it OK for the oil corporation to 'gouge' when the opportunity arises. And thanks to the media looking for the bleed! Gotta keep the "the sky is falling" alive for the sheep!

Dem/Marxist President shut down a new pipeline. Next I expect some good Dem/Marxist will put a bil in to increase gas tax by 50 to 99 cents Federally per gallon.

Like the Dem/Marxist running against Susan Collins in Maine last fall wanted a tax of 50 cents on heating oil.

I would think they (Dem/Marxist) would like S Collins but the still run a truly lefty against her even though she votes like they do)

I think the media promotes all these shortages, they announce a shortage, and one is created
gas went up about 15 cents here but no shortage anywhere.

Could you believe anyone would put gasoline in a plastic bag?

In CA. gas has jumped up over the 4 dollar mark per gallon. Today I paid $4.19 for 91 octane gas.
I think Biden and the Dems may have cut their own throats for the mid terms coming up next year. Those high gas prices effects everyone from the poor to the rich. Home building material is outrageous in price and it seems that just about everything is going up in price. OSB 4X8' sheets were 14 bucks last year, going now for 40 bucks per board in this area of CA. Redwood fence boards, 6 ft. by 4 inches was 4 bucks per board last year, now at 12 bucks per board.
I know people that have put off building a deck or even a home due to the high price of material. They are hoping the price will go back down in the near future. I doubt it will for the next 2-3 years. Of course Biden is telling us that inflation is not happening.

Here in Myrtle Beach this weekend we have our annual Harley Bike Week, normal vacationers, a blue crab festival and locals.
Every gas station has people parked at the pumps waiting to be first when the next tanker comes with a delivery.
Cost is immaterial if you can't buy it.

Gas price is up about 15 cents on the treasure coast. I’m sure there’s a harbor terminal somewhere on the Florida east coast. Probably most of our gas supply comes from Caribbean or SA.
Going into a warehouse club I saw a woman with ten plastic gas cans on her cart. I haven’t bought one in ages. Can’t believe what they’re charging for them now. Oh well, at least most of the bulky plastic stuff is domestically produced.
I wouldn’t rule out a contrived hack / shortage scenario. Blame seems focused on Russians but could just as easily be pinned on domestic terrorists like disgruntled pipeline workers laid off when big joe shut down their jobs.
I’d say gas can manufacturers did it to create demand for their products, and the plastic bag movement is just a backlash.

When I look at the stupidity of the average American... Yes, I can believe it.

Gas has been $2.89 a gallon here in north central Ohio for six months. LGS had some primers and powder today at pre panic prices. I bought 1lb of W296 for $22.99 and 1000 CCI large pistol primers for $28.99. Things appear to be looking to here.
