As the title states I want to buy a threaded barrel for my 1100 that takes Rem chokes or any other after market chokes.

What gauge are you looking for?

And vent rib or plain barrel? 2 3/4" chamber or 3" chamber?

good luck, garrisonjoe

Either chamber 12 ga. With or without vent rib. I'll mainly use it to shoot buckshot or slugs with a cylinder and rifled choke tube respectively. I have a vent rib modified barrel for trap. Gotta prepare for the ZA.

Think I can help ye there, jdfox. What length was ya looking for? I think I have a 26", not sure. I'll have to find it and measure again.

That would be a good length. Do you have chokes also?

No need to bump, I just don't get on the forum every day sometimes. Dealing with mom in assisted living right now that isn't going so well. I'll have to go check on the barrels, I've got a couple I think, and I've got chokes to, the flush type, but don't think you would want to shoot slugs out of anything but a cylinder bore.

Been there done that. She died at 93 years old.

OK, it is a 2-3/4" chamber. It is also an aftermarket barrel, not Remington, if that matters, and it measures 25-1/2". Hinky, heh. I have several Remchokes, but only Mod and Full. You are welcome to both of them. I have a 30" and a 28" that I swap off my 1100 when shooting trap and sporting clays, thinking I might use the 26" someday, but never did, it has just sat in the corner, but I shouldn't be telling you this.
