We spray um, we shake um and we dip um. A search will find you all you want to know about PCing boolits on this forum. The link above will get you started. Then go here for a source and more good info.

I gotta ask. Did ya even bother to read the stickies before asking this question?

Even the description of this area of the forum would have answered your question.

Was looking for more information on members who do spray coating. Most of the posts I'd read were shake or tumble coated.

The term they use is electrostatic coating not spraying. Try this link:

I've done both...ESC and 'Shake 'n Bake'...and, honestly, couldn't see any difference in the finished product(s). On the other hand, I did find ESC without a spray booth to be messy and wasteful of powder for my typical batch of 400-500 boolits. Anybody want to buy s lightly used HF ESC gun?

Where 'ya been for all these years??????????????? We have been casting and coating since 2013 or there about!

There are THOUSANDS of us on here that have it perfected to an art/science.

Works great. I started researching the shake-n-bake procedures with a ton of others on here back in 2013. Now I use ESPC 100% and do not shake!

Please - - - - - try reading all the stickies.

Actually, a chap in my club sprays them. He is a spray painter by trade so it was logical that he would try to spray the stuff. It works for him but I think he is lucky as a lot of the powders don't mix well with solvents.
If they did then everyone would be doing it.

If you want tospra the coating on, do it with the tool designed to do it! A (dry powder) ESPC powder gun.....what industry uses with GREAT success. It uses coronal discharge electricity technology to make the powder cling on the boolits until you bake it.

NOT a liquid paint gun. Most powders will NOT dissolve in acetone or laq thinner well, so forget that route. Can you say "clogged spray gun"?
