I have some Bell never fired brass. I think its for 50-110, but not sure.
The specs are thus:
length: 2.605 to 2.700", most around 2.606"
Rim dia .602"
Rim thickness .540"
ID .499-.509"

Any info is appreciated.

Bell made Basic cases for the 50 cal and 45 cal. You had to form them to what ever you needed. Huntington sold it at one time among others.

I pretty much knew that....Let me re-direct, What cartridges Could one form from the case I provided dimensions for??

The base diameter is most important in figuring that out.
Could be used for a number of cases depending on that measurement.

It's been MANY years seen I was looking at this but the 50-70 Govern't comes to mind. Then they started to produce that with a proper head stamp. There was also a 50-95 Winchester and 50 Sharps. Not sure but I think some of the bottleneck Sharps used it. All my books are in store so can't dig thru them. Wish I could be of more help.

I had a friend back in the mid 80's that owned a replica 1874 Sharps in 50-140. He bought his brass from Bell. That thing must have been a beast to shoot. I owned (still do) a replica Sharps in 45-70 and that is more than enough recoil for me.
