Is there an easy way to change lubes in a 4500? Or so I need to just add the new lube and let it push the old lube out?

You can do that or use a hair dryer to melt it out or take it apart and slide it in the oven on a cookie sheet lined with newspaper at 175-200 degrees for about 30-45 mins like I did. Its best to have most of the lube out to keep from filling the sheet. I swapped over once I ran the well dry. I also put all my sizer dies in there to clean them all out at the same time.

good idea! thanks. and my brother has an oven he uses for powder coating in his garage. this way I don't have to do this in the cooking oven.

cooking oven idea. bad....
i would just put the new lube in, and use up all the old.

Just put in new with the old---bad idea. You may get some horrendous color that does not co-ordinate. You'd be a social outcast forever. I guess the color of lube is important, I've read lots of posts here about it.

$10 heat gun from Harbor Freight will empty that sizer right fast and as carpetman stated you will be color correct and your bullets will look sharp for that trip down that shiney highway.

I just take mine in to work and put it in the ovens for about 40 minutes @ 350F.
Works every time. :)

Hang it upside and clamp a heat lamp ( you can use just a heat bulb in an old socket ) to it----Just hang it over something that will collect the lube! No work, cheap and very easy !
