What boolit were you using? Gotta love shooting the Swiss rifles.

I know nothing about swiss rifles, but every thing I put the WC860 in had responded with good groups. the lighter boolits leave sooty case mouths and unburned powder everywhere. I even got nice little groups with my 22-250, but unburned powder spoils the fun. I use it in the 308 with 190 and up boolits and in the 'o6.
Glad you had good results.

used the Lee 155 grain, sized 309, burned clean too, but in my M44 burned dirty, going to chrony some loads today in both and 8mm.

harpman; that sharp shoulder on the 7.5 helps when using those slow powders.
