Spent cases for .308 bullets?

Hello to all.
I am new on swaging. My experiences is limited to obtain .45-70 bullets starting fron .45 ACP cases with poor means.
Now I would like to obtain .308 bullets but from which cases? Possibly common...
The 7,65 Browing is a semi rimmed case and the rim is so hard to reduce...
Any help?

Hello Jim...thanks for your reply.
I thinks that the only brass usable for .308 jacket is the 5.7x28 but this is a so hard to find caliber in Italy.

5.7 is about the best choice if you can find them. Copper tubing if not

I've drawn down 9mm cases to make a 30 cal jacket... Its allot of work.... Fine a Bullseye shooter who doesnt reload their 32 S&W Long

Although the link has dies for use in a Corbin Press; the description for the process and picture may be of benefit. (PS - I have this set. Drawback is that I get a high % with skewed bases. By skewed I mean the jacket base is flat/but not 90 degree angle to the sidewalls.)

You will need to draw down 9mm brass in at least two steps. Also, anneal before each draw. You will quickly tire of the monotony and the need for tremendous effort. Also, as MUSTANG pointed out, the finished product will be lopsided. I draw down 380 (9mm Kurtz) to make heavy 9mm projectiles. Rolling the drawn brass across the table demonstrates the imperfections of the process :(
