2487 FPS is a really good velocity for cast with a gas check.

I have the NOE copy of this bullet, it does work well in an AR with the right twist.

Yea, a 1-7 is going to be VERY difficult to get cycling and accuracy. I've had good luck with a 1-9 with 16-18gr of H4985 and an intermediate length gas. I do have a new to me Encore 15" 223 pistol barrel with a 1-12" that I'm planning on using cast in.

What does a faster twist rate have to do with degraded cycling?

Its pretty easy to modify lyman or lee handles to make them work. Thats what I did

I like the 1/9 twist it seems to work with the most bullets.
