Found these Morrell and oysters today. Weather says 29 tomorrow night. I have peaches and pears set fruit and after 10 years my paw paw trees are blooming. Great. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20210419/2877cb34dd8f1a6938c14a277041b59c.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20210419/2833674c36aa85bf8b3f88f3356d5b15.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20210419/605725f4e237a9404259ea30f911860b.jpg

I remember singing a little song as a child about "Picking up paw paws , putting them in your pocket , way down yonder in the paw paw patch !"
Evidently paw paw's don't grow in South Louisiana near the Gulf Coast ... I've never seen a tree or it's edible fruit , growing around here .
If it bears fruit , post some photo's and tell us what they taste like .
Sang the song and had no idea what I was singing about .
We picked a few Persimmons and sacks full of Pecans but not one Pawpaw !
