I want to expand my powder coating options. So far my experience has been with Eastwood light and dark Ford blue, and Candy Apple Red. Are there others that work well for you? Anyone try the bronze or even the clear?

I did the multiple color thing for a while. Now all of mine are blue.

I use Eastwood 'Gloss Black" so critters can't see the boolit coming in poor light.:kidding:
Smoke's Clear-- keeps bullets looking traditional and performs great

It depends on what kind of mood I'm in and if I want a single powder color or a blend

I have been using a silver with some black mixed in. gives boolits a good color, not too far from bright lead, but enough it is easy enough to tell they are coated.

When I started I ordered a pound of Smoke’s powder. It was the same price for 1/3lb of 3 different colors so I got red, white, and blue. I’ve been thinking about getting some John Deere green and yellow to make tractor boolits.

Have used the Ford dark blue and lime green with good results. Fortunecookie45lc on utube demonstrated coating w/ these two colors plus mirror red in a video. Am intrigued by a magenta colored projectile, tho.

I bought Smoke’s Traffic Purple for making my mom some purple bullets for our Mothers Day shoot. It performed so well I pretty well use it on everything now. 281478

I thought of doing something like that. Would be really cool for family 4th of July shoots.

I don't powder coat but I like the looks of Zombie Green on pistol bullets and Lipstick Pink on larger rifle bullets like the 45-70.

Whatever color is in container and or add another to twist it a little , no preference to what it is as it for a bullet

I'm holding out for "Classic Car Flames" ... lipstick red on RN boolits is just soooo old, overdone and boring .

Wow, the prices are great for this Columbia paint and lots of colors to chose from. Does it shake and bake well? Some of the pics look a little rough, the paint I use, powder by the pound, really flows well and covers in one coat which are musts for me. I haven't got far enough on their web site but I assume there is shipping.
