So, not a novice reloaded and not a complete n00b to casting, however, I recently got a Big horn armory lever gun in 460. It is threaded and suppressed. I am interested in seeing if it is safe to even cast for this. If so, recommendations on mold and recommendations on alloy would be appreciated. I am assuming hardcast with a gas check. I do believe I want a brass mold.

Very nice gun. Post some pics.
I wouldn't see any reason that cast wouldn't work in it.
You'll probably want to decide where you want to go with this. Something like a 270gn around 2000fps might be nice. For a heavy bullet, you could look at a 350. I would go with a LFN style for easier feeding.
I don't really care for brass molds, I prefer aluminum. I would definitely want a gas check design for the upper end pressure and velocity.
