I am looking for a 125gr SWC or RN/FP mold that I can use for both 9mm and 38spl. Lee has one - the 38-125-RF - that many have used for both calibers, but with The Panic and all they are not to be had unless you're willing to spend 2-3 times the new retail price.
So, I will order from Accurate instead. He has three molds that look possible:
36-124N
36-125A
36-125L
The 36-125L looks pretty good, but I also note the other two. I'll be powder coating and using them in a Beretta 92FS, Ruger LC96, several 38/357 revolvers, and a Marlin carbine.
For best fit between the two calibers which one do you like best?

All three of those have pretty blunt noses with wide meplats. You might have feeding problems with those boolits in 9mm.

This is the Lee 358-125-rf which I have read several threads from people saying they use it in their 9mms.

They look pretty similar to me. The meplat is what I'm after for both calibers as it's to be a general purpose working bullet rather than simple paper punching and plinking.
You might consider having the nose diameter negative toleranced or otherwise cut somewhat smaller if you are powder coating that design for use in 9mm. PC will lengthen the bearing surface on the ogive and many newer 9mm barrels have very little throat necessitating deep seating. A steeper transition angle helps as well. For reference the MP 360-640 works well PC in 9mm and 357 mag with enough taper to clear the throat in my 9mm pistols when PC.

i shoot the 35-124M without the bevel base, the nose could use a little more taper to load a longer OAL, My CZ75 requires a shorter OAL
I did not look at specs on your specified molds, just something to consider.
I use a 125 RN/FP in both my 38 Special and 9mm Taurus. They run 0.358. I use them at 358 for the 38 and size them down to 356 for the Taurus.
