Finally after a 14 month wait I finally get my barreled action back
from Hart Rifle Barrels.I sent my action in to have them fit one of their
barrels to it and I just got the call it's done.I can hardly wait.
It is a model 70 action with a chamber of 220 Swift the twist is 1-12
funny thing is before I received the e-mail I was just thinking of what powder and
bullet combo I was going to use and then I get the e-mail saying it done
looks as though my 22-250 is going to have some company :D

I don’t think I could wait that long. Did you know it was going to take so long?

I believe New York
they don't work on a production line type of shop
like some of the other barrel makers
they are a small shop and they were hit with covid
so key people were pulled out of work
I hope they are all well and recovering
I was told 10 mths to start so I was in no hurry from the start

I had a savage target single shot bull barrel rifle 112 I think. Best rifle I ever had in 220 swift. Hope yours shoot just as good

I hope so
the swift has been a favorite of mine for many years
have had a number of them Ruger's,Remington's and even MGM barrels
for some reason I have an affinity for the 22 cal
I have used the 220 Swift for coyote and even shot whitetail deer with it
I have a book by Vincent Doughtery that explains the 220 Swift very well
he has taken a number of big game with it
it should prove to interesting and a keeper for sure
