Looks like a candidate for heavy lead boolit loads moving along at moderate speeds.

SOG has them if you want one, along with the full length rifle...at $200 some dollars.

No these are NOT carbines. They are chopped rifles. The 71/84 carbine has a turned down bolt with a spoon bolt handle and the sling is different. In addition the front sight is protected and the tube does not stick out. They might be nice to play with, but the last batch they had the bores were awfully rough and the mag tubes were dented enough that they didn't feed.
