I have a few kegs of Shooters World Heavy Pistol. It's really Lovex powder. Usually I load most my 357 mag with it and it works fine.
This powder is comparable to AA#9 in burn rates. Since it is meant for large capacity handgun cases I'm thinking it may be suitable for the 500 Linebaugh medium heavy loads like #9.
Has anyone tried it in the 500L yet or if someone has quickload and could check for a starting load with the CP 435gr wfngc bullet and let me know I would deeply appreciate it.

I did not find a 435 WFNG in Quickload so I took a 450 and "tweaked it". The data below is for a 0.613 seating depth. Also note that Quickload is typically considered less accurate than desired for predicting pressures in straight wall cases. Out of caution, I ran a table, but let it end a good bit before getting to max rated pressure.

Cartridge : .500 Linebaugh
Bullet : 0.510, 435 Guesstimate
Useable Case Capaci: 27.354 grain H2O = 1.776 cm³
Cartridge O.A.L. L6: 1.755 inch = 44.58 mm
Barrel Length : 8.0 inch = 203.2 mm
Powder : Lovex D037.2 Heavy Pistol

Predicted data by increasing and decreasing the given charge,
incremented in steps of 2.381% of nominal charge.
CAUTION: Figures exceed maximum and minimum recommended loads !

Thank you very much. That gives me a good place to start. I'll try to stay below 35,000psi at the top end.
