I am looking for a front sight blade for a 1955 Win model 94. If anyone knows where to get that part, please let me know. The front sight is on the barrel, but the blade has been sheared off. The part I am looking for is the blade with the boss that goes into the dovetail.

If you look on Brownells website, it gives quite a nice description of the sight blade you will need as well as where to procure them.

Is it on a ramp with grooves for a hood? If so, it should be a bead sight- I may have one in my stuff.

No ramp - the OP stated it's mounted directly in the female barrel dovetail.

pietro..that vintage M94's front sight is dovetailed into a ramp.

AZ Pete is correct, the front sight is dovetailed into a ramp with grooves for a hood.

Guessing it would look something like this 1954 Win 94 - a birth year rifle in 32 Special.

Thanks for the kick in the a$$, fellas - evidently I misread the OP (and ignored the given DOM).

My bad.

Ahh, the Golden Years...

Just like my 32Spcl and I am also a '54 person. Do not know how old the carbine is, probably some older than I. Good shooter and light to carry.
