I have several excellent molds made by Dan Lynch of Mountain Molds, but can no longer access his website mountainmolds.com. Does anyone know if he is still in business?

He retired .
Thanks for the info. His forum was a source for interesting info. He was a lot younger than Veral Smith at LBT!

I only wish we still had a database of his posts on his forum. He did a bunch of honest testing comparing molds, lubes, alloys, etc. that is unmatched by even this forum.

That's a shame. I wish that I had been a little ahead of the curve and bought a mould before he retired. Thankfully, we still have Accurate Molds!!! Tom makes a quality product.

I have only one Mountain mold and it's a fine one. Sad that he retired but I congratulate him and wish him well.

It may well be that Dan has un-retired and will produce molds again. His website is back up at: https://mountainmolds.com/

I don't see his design program back there yet, but it's mentioned in the text. I sent him an email to confirm if he's getting back into mold production.

Stay tuned!

Sadly, it's not to be. I emailed Dan, and he said he's still retired, and no longer owns the domain mountainmolds.com. He said whoever now owns it has put up the website with some of his old information, and is likely up to no good. Be warned, and beware.

I sure miss Mountain Molds, his custom design model fit my needs. Tom makes a good mold, but he has some limitations on what angles he can incorporate into a design and can't do a square shoulder SWC.
