I have a bad habit of putting bids on a bunch of 1 penny start auctions on ebay and a while back I won some fishing rod socks for cheap. I didnt actually like them for my rods because they were a pain in the but to get the rods in and then back out so they went on the shelf.
Yesterday I was doing some organizing and realized those rod socks would be good to protect some spare barrels I had, and they work pretty good.
They may do nothing for rust protection, so, dont rely on them for that.
I could not find any on Ebay cheaper than $5, but I did find them on Ali-Express for $2.70 each, free shipping. The problem with Ali-Express is shipping can take 2 months to get to you.
Regardless, though I would let yall know.
