Finally have all the supplies together and I'm ready to load. Big thanks to Tom at Accurate. I am however finding it quite difficult to find decent load data. I'm working with 350 gr and 500 gr PB FN pills. Only magnum powder I have on hand is w296, as well as the usual pistol powders, TG, Unique, PP, 231, ect. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I guess this is going to be a Elmer Keith type adventure. Hope I keep all my digits.

I see your dilemma sir.....any chance you can get some Accurate #9? There is reliable load data for both the bullets you are looking at. As for 296/H110, it is going to be a bit of ladder testing to get a reliable, accurate, safe load.
The closest I am finding for 296 is for 410, 425 and 468 grain bullets.

I don't have Accurate #9. I will keep an eye out for it though. It's a bummer, as I passed on a lb last week.

THANK YOU! Second link is extremely helpful. Gives me a good starting point. I feel a lot better when I know someone else has ventured there before. Guy covers several powders I have on hand. First link was my own thread from a while back when I bought the gun. Many thanks.

296/H110 does not like air space if in doubt load to the base of seated bullet

Hanzy, if you can measure the length of your bullets and give us the loaded length, we should be able to put it into Quickload and get you a safe starting point for a couple of powders.
