200 SR primers on Friday

I was at a local store and scored 200 Federal SR primers. I few weeks earlier they sold me 100 CCI SR primers. Not a lot to brag about, but it appears there is hope that the shortage is coming to an end. I'm also seeing Tula X39 and 223 ammo starting to sit on shelves. $10 a box verses the $5 it was, but no longer unobtainium.

a new scheels opened in colorado springs, they had ammo and primers and powder out the wazoo, the line was around the building several hours before it opened and stayed like that most all day. with the buy limits, I heard the primers lasted til noon.

I am in the process of building an AR. Had to source the parts from five outfits. Did manage to score a Ballistic Advantage 18" .223 Wylde fluted barrel. So much gun stuff out of stock.......

I didn't( but did) like it when I recently bought 1000 CCI #41 primers for $75 then a week later 1000 CCI regular SR primers for $55. My friend scored them from a LGS as soon as they got them. I'm not out; but I'm still looking for Small Pistol primers( any brand)!

I use small rifle primers in my small pistol loads all the time. If the option is available I only buy SR primers for both. YMMV
