It is important to remember that Satan/The Devil does not have the same meaning for everyone. The informed Christian's understanding of Satan is much different than that of the the general population.

How about the depictions of the Devil and Hell in vintage cartoons?

There are many movies depicting Satan's antics among men. Not many are accurate.

There are countless images of Satan on heavy metal record albums. Again, I doubt they are accurate.

Additionally, did you know the Church of Satan doesn't even believe Satan exists?


In think, in general, people like to use Satan/Hell as a prop to shock and make money. These shoes are really nothing new.
