Apparently, they aren't making any. I check them daily.

I couldn't find one so I started swaging them.

Try “Old West Bullet Mold.” They make old style bullet mold. They make .22 lr bullets and conical cap and ball bullet mold. All the molds are made of brass only.

This is what mine is. Works OK for the BP .22's I make. . https://noebulletmolds.com/site/shop/224/225-46-wfn-a1/225-46-wfn-a1-5-cavity-gc/

I didn't think anyone made a hollow base mold. Are they a top pour mold? Or how do they make the hollow base? That's why I make swaging dies.

Old West Molds makes a 40 grain heeled mold.

I have no dog in this fight - but I can tell you that while I don't have one of the .22 40 grain heeled molds - I do have three other of Bernie's molds and they are top notch quality all the way.

Thanks
That might be my only option at this time.

That really isn't much more than a long gas check bottom, not nearly as long as the NOE version.

The correct depth of the heel should be 0.100". A person can get away with a slightly shorter heel though.
