Just found a deal on eBay for 25 pounds of lead-free solder, 99% tin. Current bid is $86.55, plus 12.95 shipping, meaning lead for about $4/lb at this cost, which will probably go up. If anyone is interested, check Item number: 110330076991

And he has several other auctions for lesser amounts of solder.

from what I been reading the market for lead is dropping off to nothing, pretty soon it should be cheaper than we ever paid in the last 25 years.

Yeah, ummm, them charts are for lead. Auction is for tin solder, though the price for tin is dropping too...

I'v been watching this sellers auctions for some time. Thier 25 pound lots bring about $180-$190

Opentop, if that's so, then it is in the same ballpark as the Grainger solder deals. I hadn't noticed them before.
