I would check with Sarco or Classic arms first, then maybe Swedish gun forums online?
Surely some of those rifles were parted out.

They are not common and you won’t find them from any US supplier. The only time I’ve seen them for sale are on the Gunboards Swedish forum from individuals in Sweden. You could place a WTB there and see. The forum member FSON is one of the likely suppliers of such.

PS: they require a new longer rear trigger guard screw.

I have one lying around, but am thinking about putting it on a 96.

I’ve got one but it came from my friend in Malmö, along with the crazy rare windage adjustable rear sight I installed.

I put the grip on my rifle but wasn’t a fan of how bulky it was. I saw once an m/96 for target use that had a more slender pistol grip added to the military stock that looked like a very professional job. It was also dar more visually appealing.

Now if I can find someone to professionally add a pistol grip like that to my stock I would throw money at them. I have already had to modify the hand guard to clear the windage drum & then I modified the stock itself like an m/38 for a nos nsn bent bolt handle.

I will have this rifle with me until I’m pushing up daisies so I don’t mind the mods.

Come to think of it, I bought that rifle off a gentleman on this forum. Been a few years so the name escapes me but if you happen to see this, thank you again for the amazing rifle. Rarely am I hiking without it in my hands.
