Yes they do. When I tore my shoulder all my golf balls turned into targets for the .222.

But not with a springer pellet rifle. Ask my left eye how I know.

I knew there had to be a good use for golf balls and I finally found one - make then into file handles! I drill proper size holes for the needed file tangs and hammer the files in, they work great.

Our local thrift shops often sell lightly used golf balls for about $2 per dozen; that's cheap enough.

My father strung a brightly painted golf ball from the ceiling of his garage right at hood height so when the car nudges the ball, he knew he was in as far as he wanted to be.
Worked for him for years after his depth perception started to go.

I tried that for my wife , but my 6 grandkids could not resist slapping it on their way thru the garage and kept breaking the string.

Sounds like you need stronger string, or Kryptonite for the grandkids. ;)

Very interesting.

To say the least. Explosive properties of the dimpled shell is impressive. Who'd have thunk it?
