I bought the 1914 Mauser .32 back in normal times. I just found the 1910/14 Mauser .25 at a local store. It was on consignment from a customer, at a decent price. I offered $65 less than the asking price, the salesman called the owner, and he agreed to the price. I load for .25 ACP so I have everything I need. I fired off some reloads and factory ammo in the .25 and it's flawless. I don't think it was used much (too much recoil?) The .32 had been fired alot.
I went to another store today and there, on a basically empty shelf, were two boxes of .25 ACP at $10 per box.
Apparently Mauser intermixed the serial numbers for the .32 and .25 - these numbers aren't too far apart.
Left pic - .32 on top. Right - .25
