I did a AR GB on another site and im going to run some mags also. ill pass the saving on to us here if i can get enough sold.

i will need to get 100 mags presold to make this happen. the details are C-products mags, aluminum bodies, CS springs, the newest grey anti-tilt followers, 20 or 30 round mags. ( could do green or orange anti tilt but grey is the newest so lets do that.)

i only run c products, also all the guys here that do the 3 gun run them also. they are the same mag as the brownells mags. c-products makes them for brownells and puts a brownells name plate on them. c-products make great mags my buddies shop in davenport and my buddies shop in moline thats all they sell. they cant keep them in at $15 for 20 and $18 for 30. these are real cproducts mags great buy at that price.

stripped lowers were like 2 months, and my completes were 14 weeks so its not as bad as people think. -chris

the 30 rounders have a curve to them. i believe the 20's do to but not much they are almost straight. ill see if i can get a pic up.

the mags will ship seperate from the lowers so theres a seprate shipping charge. also the end dates are different on the mags from the lowers so make sure the funds get here by the date posted. you can always mail me your FFL at a later time. i can get 20 mags ber box and i can get 4 lowers plus bubble wrap per box. so if you order both theres still 2 shipping charges. thanks-chris

Joe gave us these at a good deal just to help get his shops name out there. i went to a gun show today and the same mags were selling for $15-$25 a piece depending on the table.

mags shooting from the info they gave me 5-8 weeks, its in there hands now hopefully they will stick to it.

parts are starting to come in, got some LPK's and a few main parts but not enough to complete either group buy yet. its not as bad as people let on for the wait, according to the manufactures.

Cproducts said could be as early as 5 weeks, but 5-8 would be a better guess the lady told us. thanks for the support guys. -chris

trust me joe and i are just as upset and mad the date wasnt as "they" promised. the order is in and we are in line. i dont want to call and bug them and keep hounding them for a date and piss them off and put us at the bottom.

the LPK's, the mags, the uppers, all should have been in by now. i cant make excuses and dont want to feed everyone with false info. so im being honest when i say i dont know when they will be here. we are waiting just as you, along with the first part of the GB on another site and all of our local sales.

Sorry I tried to do a good thing and help people out. If you really feel you need to question my integrity why don't you grow a set of balls and call me out personally. Guaranteed this is the last time I do this. You have no idea how large this group buy got. This is not the only site on which it was posted and run. You're right 44Mag has them in stock, I don't. I don't have the quantity buying power that he does.

Anyone else feel that I have wronged them in any way speak up and your money will be refunded as well. How about I refund everyone and I make a good 20% profit above the prices I quoted to y'all by selling them elsewhere?

How come you answered my post on the forum?. I emailed Joe at Joe@joescustomconcepts weeks ago and said in my email that I was a member of the group buy from Cast Boolits and NO ONE EVER mailed me back. My post was intended to get some kind of response about the order. I am sure I am not the only one wondering about it. I am surprised to know that the order included orders from other forums too. this is a different deal. When this was run a guy knew there was a wait involved. there was never a guarantee of a delivery time. Guys that do things like this and the lee mold group buys and the gas check group buys are taking on a hell of alot of work for very little profit. Rather then bitch i wish i could buy them a cold one! Heck ive got enough mags for now and theres no war starting in MI this week and as to the lowers, good luck finding the rest of the parts right now to build a gun anyway. I ordered two and i think ill just have them hold them and builid me two guns on them. It will no doubt be the fastest way to get something built.

Hey fellas, no since getting all steamed up here. I think all anyone was looking for was an update on the buy, I know that's all I wanted. If you would please give them a call and get their best guess on filling our order, they will know, then we will know. Not hearing anything causes some folks to get upset. I have an order in for a custom sixgun holster and belt and the guy is pushing me back in favor of his dealers orders which just happened to be larger than he expected. Am I happy about it? Do I feel taken advantage of? You bet I do! Is it the way to treat people? No, but at least he was honest about it and told me what was going on. I contacted both Chris and Joe and recieved PM's back from both. Chris said that he had talked to Joe and that he would be contacting me. Joe sent a PM and said that he would call the supplier and let me know what their estimated delivery was. That was last week, I have not heard anything from Joe. Another member here contacted the mag company and told me that they are quoting 4 wks for delivery. I don't know what is going on here but I and others are getting a little edgy about the lack of updates on this one. I would like to think all is well. I am emailing Joe today and asking for my money back, I have lost confidence in this GB. I am not advocating others to do the same, but for me I am done waiting without any updates, times up.

The general theme in most group buys have been hurry up and wait, This one is no different but seeing that copes dist has recently received a large shipment of C product 30 rounders and is moving them at $8.99 each some might want to take their business over there if they are tired of waiting, I have no connection with the company. Going on 6 months though with a original projected delivery of 5-6 weeks from the first lot is kind of a stress inducer.

i emailed joe and forwarded this post to him. if there caught up our stuff should be ready or be getting ready to ship. i dont know, im just the middle man on this. i cant step on joes toes in his shop and call and check up on his vendors. i told joe in the email to post up or send me a reply and id post his reply.

joe just called me, he said hes been shipping out some lowers separate from the lpks.

bcarver hes going to look thru all the paper work to find your FFL to see if its been shipped or if your ffl didnt get him the paperwork. he will do some digging and let us know. PM me your FFL's info so it will help him reference. there was 1 FFL that was in question not saying it was yours but someones was expired. like i said not saying it was yours but that also popped in my head. hit me in the PM with the FFL's phone number and fax along with there name. ill pass that to joe and straighten that out.

If you guys still need mags, you should stock up while you can. The Gun shows always have a endless supply and web sites like 44mag. have C products mags for real cheep. Times are still changing and I don't see them getting any better.

If you look at Aim Surplus, they afre selling the CProducts mags for $7.95. I know from looking at other suppliers that mags are plentiful and have been all year.

Yeah, now he is claiming that the hold up is LPKs from DPMS, yet they are plentiful everywhere else. Apparently everyone can get DMPS LPKs except Joe, and besides, I'm 95% sure of where his parts are coming from and the LPKs come with the kits

Joe sent my stripped receivers on request. I then ordered my parts kits separately and had the guns built when the Rock River uppers showed up about two weeks ago. (They were ordered in February). They still owe me three parts kits and 20 mags. I sent them an email requesting a refund and proposed an alternative solution. We will see what happens.

Ok, here goes. This isn't going to be the most popular post but honestly I'm just as sick of this as most of you are. I'm going to break a few things down here.

I have gotten email to my old email address in regards to this GB. I thought I had made it clear that all inquiries were to be sent to sales@joescustomconcepts.com
One individual continued sending email to joe@joescustomconcepts.com and then proceeded to **** mouth me for lack of response. Wanting a refund for a lower (which is sitting right here and has been) and an LPK. The LPK I can understand, but why should something be refunded that is sitting right here? Ya know what, I sent it. I have sent refunds to everyone that has asked. From this site and the other one that was involved in the GB. I spend more time issuing refunds than I do tracking down time frames for parts. Just the truth. I work a regular full time job (plus) just like everyone else. I get up at 4:30 to start my day and get home around 6:30 or so each night. I'm not asking for sympathy or for anyone to excuse me from anything, but I honestly don't have the time to dedicate to the shop like I did when this whole mess started. I wish I never would have started this damn thing, but too late for that now.

I am not out to 'take' anyone or thier money. If that was the case I wouldn't be sending refunds. Yes, I've goofed on a couple but I made them right for the customers. I've been ripped off by a customer who wanted a refund (which I sent) but his initial check didn't clear (due to the way he wrote it). I made him aware of it and he has yet to make it right to me. So essentially I just gave him almost $200. Whatever. My fault, but still.

I've read a few comments on here in regards to the blog. Honestly I don't know how to do anything on there. That one is Chris's domain. He changes things that I ask him to, but I don't know how to get on there and do anything. The 'comment box' or whatever the hell it's called was taken down due to some slanderous comments that were posted saying that I was a crook and took everyones cash and went on vacation. That did not set well with me, especially since I emailed the 2 folks that were making those comments and they won't man up enough to respond. I hear little buzzes about legal action. Go ahead. Knock yourselves out. Waste your time and money on a lawyer if it makes you feel better. But ensure that you have a legal foothold. Have you asked for a refund? Did I tell you no? I doubt it since everyone who has asked has recieved. There are a couple in the mail now that were put out on Saturday. One of those is to the a fore mentioned person who couldn't send correspondence to the correct email.

At first I was just fronting the money for the refunds. Now I can no longer afford to do that so I am having to ammend my orders and request refunds from vendors. This too causes delays in order completions. I will take blame for not pushing suppliers to get things filled. I will admit my wrongs in this thing. I loose track of time, days and weeks just blend into each other and next thing I know it's two months since I've said anything. Yes. My fault. I end up with good intentions and then forget. Again, my fault. I don't blame anyone for getting upset (to put it lightly) I would too given the situation. But the BS about 'legal action' is really starting to get to me. Do any of you who are threatening that have a foundation for such? I doubt it. If you have correspondence from me saying too bad you're not getting your money back then I would like to see it, because I guarantee I NEVER said that. Never have, never will.

Now to the meat of things. It's all falling apart. Again, the refunds are causing some delays now. I'd like to just be done with it, but I'm not. I thought I saw an end in sight, but it's running away again.

I'm not trying to sound like I'm putting up an ultimatum or anything, but it would be nice to get all of the refund requests by the end of this week. (12-11-09). Then I can have a final tally and not have to change the orders every week.

Just make sure you are sending ALL corespondence to sales@joescustomconcepts.com. Feel free to call me what you want face to face or in private, but when it's done on a public forum then we all have to be carefull of slander and deflimation of character. I know a little bit about legal recourse too and I would really prefer not to travel that road.

edit* Also if you ordered a stripped lower please make arrangements to get them. I am not pleased about refunding for items that I have sitting here and I don't think I will do it again.

Got my LPK refund Sat. my lower was delivered to my FFL a while back.
All I did was send a letter to Custom Concepts with copies of my emails and m.o.

I know its a sad deal when someone rips off this many people. He could have at least had the balls to contact us and tell us he was broke. He might have got some sympathy. As a matter of fact i wouldnt doubt if not only his debts would have been forgiven but the guys here are good enough they would have probabaly took up a collection for him.
