Hard to say with the details provided. Could be your alloy is lighter than the alloy the manufacturer designed to. Could be the manufacturer didn’t make a mold that drops the stated weight. Could be poor casting technique.

410 grain mold dropping 365 grain bullets using lead & Linotype Why?Dealt with this before. Start with pure lead. Then add a little bit of lineotype To your pot. The harder lead weighs less.

welcome to the forum.

If the mold was designed and rated for pure lead (ie muzzleloader conicals), then it will cast lighter with an alloy that contains a good portion of Linotype.
