475 duel crimp grove bullet mold troubles.

anyone else having problems with there mold. I had the alignment pin fall out of one side of one of mine and sent it back to lee. took out the second one i had bought today and after about 150 bullets one fell out of this mold too. Ive only had this happen to two other molds since ive been using the 6 cavity molds and to have it happen to two molds that were the same makes me wonder if they cut the holes to big on them.

I've had that happen with a few Lee 6 cav. molds. I just consider it part of the "Lee-menting" process. I put the loose pin on the anvil and beat it up with a hammer (being careful not to damage the part that protrudes from the mold face) to upset some metal and then push it in from the back of the block. They always stay in after that treatment.

Just another of those Lee idiosyncracies. :roll:
