You guys don't come to sites like this one and expect this disease to improve, do you?

Well, I guess it all depends on your definition of 'improve' now, doesn't it.

Nice photos gents.

Around these parts, you don't ask a guy "how many guns do you have?" You ask, "How many safes do you have?" (BTW, I'm not kidding)

I thought I had a bunch of guns. But they'll all fit in the new safe when it gets here. So I guess I'm still OK. Course some are at the gunsmith and made a payment on the lay away today. OH, Damn, Guess I need to call the safe company.

Yeah, they kind of sneak up on you. And then, you find a couple that you like and have to buy a spare. Oh well, never too many toys./beagle

You are just not trying hard enough.

You start by buying a couple a year. By the time you notice that the front sights are getting hard to see clearly, you will have quite a pile.:drinks:

Holy Cow, some of you guys could start a dog-goned Museum! Sheesh! Nice collections guys. Now just remember, each of those fine shootin' irons needs its own special bullet mold. And for all that casting, you need a FAST sizer, which of course is the Star. And, now, of course, you'll need sizing dies for your Star sizers...did I mention that I make these?!
Seriously, thanks for sharing. It's good to know there are other, much more enjoyable ways to invest our money besides the (now crashed) stock market!

Several years ago, I felt the need to build a secure walk-in reinforced concrete vault, and took some pics of a few of them when I moved them out of the house and hauled them over there.

COP "derringer", unfired.

I may very well be the last person in the world to have fired one of these.

Ruger Old Army's, anyone?

If I told you the total number, you'd call me a liar. If any o' ya are ever in the vicinity of my Colton, WA place, we'll get together and shoot a few of 'em.

Here is what I got for Christmas
http://www.uberti.com/firearms/images/1873_stallion_brass.jpg

Everyone needs a good .22. It's the Uberti Stallion. It came with both the .22lr and .22mag cylinders. Deep blue with Beautiful case hardened colors.
It fits right next to it's two bigger brothers that look exactly the same, in 45 colt.

I never heard of a Uberti Stallion until 5 minutes ago,but I want to tell you that is simply the coolest looking revolver I've seen in a very long time. :drinks:

They also make it in 38 special :)

Sitting next to my .45 cattleman Uberti's (SAA) it looks just a wee bit smaller. Like it's 7/8 size.
I don't think the grip is any different, just a little smaller frame.

I was afraid the Wife would have problems with it because of the old fashioned SAA sights (groved receiver). Within 15 minutes she was hitting clay birds & 25 yards. I shot it around 500 times yesterday (for like $12.00). It's a blast.

I finally broke down and bought a decent Canon Gun Safe for me meagre collection of 9 handguns and 6 long guns. I had just ordered a custom 6.5 x 55 MM Sweede and my heart would break if it was snitched. I sat down and made a list of what weapons I had and what they would cost to replace and the 2K for a good safe seemed like a good idea.

However, when I saw the 40 + rifles and Lord only knows how many handguns that JBar displayed I felt like a 5'6" white basketball player in the showers with a NBA team. Very short and tiny in all areas!

That IS quite a collection, J Bar. Having moved twice over the past couple years, I've learned that it isn't the firearms that make a move complicated and difficult--au contraire, mon amis--it's the food to feed them with that presents the true hurdles and genuine ambuscades. So, the ammo complication is a serious adjunct to the primary illness.
