I came across the following dies and was wondering what are for and how they are to be used. They are 410, 358, 258, 321, 322, all have B-S-CH on them. I also have two dies marked 223 and 244 I assume the 223 is for 223 Remington and the 244 is for the 6mm Remington.

I have a master list of 310 tool dies by number, and I can't find a singe one of the numbers you have referenced on the list. However, there were dies made after the publication of the list that may not be on it, and I don't know if a subsequent revised and updated list was published. So my suggestion is that you post photos of the dies, and we'll go from there.

I’m going to suggest that the dies marked BS-CH are bullet sizing dies... probably better used with a TruLine Jr press than with a 310 Tool. Each of those dies originally came with a push rod to force the bullet through the die. You can look at the dies marked 223 and 244 and tell whether they are also bullet sizers or have room for fitting cartridge case in. AFAIK, the loading dies for 223 and 244 were produced after the die “code” system was discontinued and replaced by caliber markings. Are there any letter markings on these two?

Green Frog you are probably correct. I went back and looked at the dies none has a push rod but it is missing. All holes are the same size all the thru the die. I have one more question. I have a decap die #159 which IO could not find in the die code list, do you know what caliber it is? Thanks Ray

I found it, #159 is a 257 Neidner Sp. Thanks for all your help.
