Any Handloader Magazines collectors here????
I've been collection them for a while, but not to many here do.
So kind of hard to "fill in holes"
I go to evilbay from time to time, but most of them are, to me, way over priced.
Any suggestions on where to find old issues???

You can buy dvd's from them year by year. I have them from the first year till 2019.

I collect those and gun digest, handloaders digest, hunters digest. I don't have an extensive collection, but I have a few. I read them too, normally cover to cover.

I rather have the magazine.
I know it takes up space, but it's just something about holding it in my hands that makes me happy.
Friend is so funny. Says he enjoys reading audio books.

Post a list of issues you need in a WTB, in the S&S forum. I’ve got some I’d be glad to get rid of.

I keep all of my issues for future reference. In fact, I go so far as to make a photocopy of specific articles for calibers I load for or think I may load for. Oh, and I scan the articles also so that I have an electronic copy as well as a binder with the printed copies.

it's a sickness, it really is.

Started reading Handloader in, IIRC, 1974. First saw it in a little gun store in Stillwater, OK. Missed a few issues a couple of years ago, when my subscription ran out and I forgot to re-new, but otherwise, I think I have them all since my first one way back when. Now, trying to find them is another story!!

I understand: it's just easier to store on a usb stick.

I didn't start subscribing to Handloader until about 20 years ago. At the same time I went on a quest to acquire all the remaining back issues. I've got them all now. I got several years of the early issues from a collector that had them in Handloader binders.

I also copy certain articles that I don't want to have to search thru the entire collection to find.

I have all of the first 20 years. After a while, they really weren't giving new information, and when I look at some of the info on loads, it's the same load info I find in other places.
I mainly load pistol, and I see the data in Handloader is identical as many other references. So I quit buying Handloader.

Slightly off the subject but don’t store ANYTHING on a USB drive/stick as the only copy. After 25 years in IT, at a minimum I keep data on my computer and on a backup external drive that is not connected except when I run a backup. USB sticks are for moving data from one device to another. Syndicated guru Kim Komando says the same thing. I can’t tell you how many users have come to me since USB drives hit the market, wanting me to retrieve corrupted data from them.

I just won a couple of evilbay auctions.
I'll fill in holes in my collection and post for trades.
