We had outhouse when i was a kid. Me and my brother snuck up behind the outhouse while dad was in there. We took a spine of a soap weed
and stuck it through the board wall and poked my dad in the behind. He thought he had been bit till he heard us laughing. IF he would have caught us he'd have beat the fire out us, but we managed to stay out of reach.

So i live in Alaska, i dont have TV , i dont watch the news and i dont read the news paper !!! There is nothing i want to read or see anymore lol But today at work , listening to the local radio station while working i hear " A woman goes into the outhouse and gets bit on her **** by a bear through the toilet seat " ...... i immediately stopped working , thought about it and had a million questions ha!ha ........ The main thought was " You're not a True Alaskan until you've been bit by a bear on the ****... through a outhouse toilet seat "

The real story supposedly is that the hole was made into a hillside basically and had rocks on the backside which had been pulled out leaving a entrance. The bear had climbed inside that hole and was just waiting on a good rump roast to be served i reckon !!! Ha!ha

No outhouse, no joy!

At our mountain camp there was no outhouse for several years. My father was out do “business” in a tangle of down logs and had a feeling he was not alone.

The back ground story was that a bear which had likely been a transplant from a Park was roaming around our private land. It would come in at night trying to steal food and there was quite a bit of chatter about this bear.

Well, my father was in the middle of “going” when all of a sudden Mr. Bear jumped up a few down logs from him and took off. Dad did the same, the best he could ......
