I will miss hearing him. Sadly I don't see any of the conservative host's out there remotely capable of filling his shoes. I don't begrudge Hannity but can't listen to him long. He should take note of how Rush would let people he didn't agree with voice their opinion and then shoot them down with facts and logic. Hannity just shouts over them so they can't finish their point and in my opinion that solves nothing. Much truth to "The Voice of Reason" moniker.

Yes, the left is dancing around the “May Pole” but the legacy Rush left behind will endure!

The one storm cloud I worry about is the concept of “media fairness” where one hour of conservative coverage would have to met with one hour of liberal group think. That would break conservative talk radio.

When I first started listening to Rush I was single living at home. Now I have my own family. I'll remember where I was when I heard of his passing like when the twin towers were hit and when dad told me mom was going off dialysis.

I am saddened by his death, none of us get out of this alive. I will miss his voice of reason, commentary on the current events. I’m down right pissed about people on social media celebrating his death, mocking what he stood for, his insight. I worked in Public Television for 11 years. The University also had/has an NPR station. Can’t stomach any of it. A like minded friend at the TV station told me about Rush in 1989. I listened at every opportunity and will miss his comforting diatribes.
