Stevens bolt 22's

not sure if correct forum sorry if not
Is there a Stevens bolt action guru in the house? What models would use the same bolt as a model 53C ? I got one , no bolt, at a yard sale because it had a WWI sling on it. I have yet to see a 53C bolt, but others float by now and again.
I am hopeing some other model would use the same bolt. Any help greatly appreciated

I've got a 15-A single shot---probably different than yours. Have you tried the usual sources like Gun Parts Corp., Jack First Co., Bob's Gun Shop (Royal, Arkansas)?

Numrich lists one bolt body for these..."Model: 3C, 3D, 3DE, 3E, 53C, 53CD, 53D, 83".

I did look at all those sights, however it looks like nseries went way beyond. The part numbers match from those models. I may order up a body today and see if it fits. nseries- did you actually go through all the models comparing part numbers? WOW I am very grateful. That is more than I would have for a total stranger. thanks so much
