Jug Test of 255gr Lee, 45 Colt+P, 1500fps out of Rossi 92

I shot my hand loaded Lee 255gr 45 Colt+P into six water jugs to test their penetration and expansion.

These plain based Lee boolits don’t like going faster than 1500fps in my little Rossi carbine, but I’ll take accuracy and penetration over high velocity any day!

I’ve had good success with that bullet, but at lower muzzle velocities. I understand why the OP shot at such a close range, but I wonder how it would perform in the jugs at 100 yards, where the impact velocity would be closer to 1200 fps. In deer and hogs it kills well at impact velocities between 900-1100 fps.
