Well not any better hang on girls and boys its bad.

Primers $12.00 a hundred up $4.00 in last month

22 LR are now $60.00 to $70.00 for 500 ct. Month ago they were $40.00

9mm are around .80-1.20 each.

223/5.56 $1.00 and up each. People looking to reload and not knowing much about it only that they were going to reload. Hope they read and listen.

Common hunting round around $40.00 a box of 20 ct.

45's / 44 etc $45.00 and up for 50 ct. No hollow points.

Shotgun trap loads $10.00 a box

Powder at around $35.00 a pound not many deals. Mostly odd powders or old cans. Not much unique, 2400, red dot, or IMR normal powders/Hodgdon normal type powders.

Heard today for what it worth, primer going to be a year or more before we see much.

I got some j-words, and mounting rings, for buddies and got a new toy. Was busy, everyone was carrying a bag; one out of say ever 10 groups was carrying a long gun. People are shopping and looking.

Be Safe!!

Primers best deal would be $ 150/1K , average $250/K
Powder non existent in majority of stores, very hit and miss, powder at shows 50.00/# to $100/#, some very old stuff.
Handgun ammo figure $ 1.00 per round at shows if your lucky, some up to $ 2.00 round.

Guess I'll be using my 223 rifle and pistols with PC'd boolits for a while. With the GC and powder coat they cost me about $0.10c each!

And I got ridiculed on another Forum,, for offering good quality 9mm ammo for $0.70 cents per round. Local pick-up. I traded into it,, and since I reload,, I figured to pass it along. It was marked below other seller's prices,, yet,, they trashed me. So, what the heck,, I'll wait 4-6 months,, wait until the prices increase even more,, then I'll offer it at a HIGHER price there,, just to pizz in their cornflakes. I even posted a copy of an ad from Midway,, that PLAINLY states "$1.20 per round, $59.95 per box of 50 rounds."

I cast, I handload, and I'm set for myself. And,, I do not need to sell anything.

I've thought about selling some factory ammo I bought not too many years ago.
But it would only be on a auction site, buy-sell-trade site, or gun show.

Selling ammo on any forum I belong to is out of the question.
There's too big of a chance the deal would end up going sour:

I know if I charged a 1986 price, delivered it for free, and stacked it on their shelf--
I'd probably get burned because somehow, I was still ripping them off.

I quit gun shows during the Obummer years. The deals here for components like powder or primers are far and few inbetween and wasting $10 to get in is just that.

The last time I went to a gun show was to sell a shotgun back in the 90s.
As far as buying anything, once you walked past all the fake, Chinese made Indian jewelry--
everything else was either trash, worn out junk, or about double the retail price of the day.

Shotgun trap loads $10 a box of 25? As bad as it's gotten, I still hit Wal Marts (several) and haven't NOT been able to walk out with one of those 100 packs for about $23 yet. Just plain stupid to pay that much at a gun show.

Normally, I go through more large rifle primers than anything else, so I'm gonna adjust my shooting to try to take advantage of the small rifle primers I have, .22 Hornet, .218 Bee, .25-20, .222 etc. Most of those haven't been shot near as much as they should so this could be good in some ways for me.

We'll get through the worst of this OK, but I doubt things will ever get back to where they were.

Thank heaven for cast boolits, did a swap for 2,000 SR primers with another shooter for 1000 cast boolits for his 404 Jeffery. Seems boolit molds and lead are also in short supply.

Time to bring out the small rifles.
