all in stainless 6"
Model 66 $394
tracker $434
model608 $463
rossi 972 $364
Im leaning toward the 66.
Does anyone have experience with these.
Also, does anyone make a speed loader for these?

Hold out for a Smith or look for a used Ruger GP100 or Security Six. I think those prices are really close to a 5 shot SP101 Ruger 3" and I believe it is twice the gun any medium frame Taurus is. Yes they have a lifetime warranty but it will probably get used. Most speedloaders for the corresponding S&W will fit the Taurus also. FWIW I just paid $500 for a used Smith 66 with a Desanti holster and a spare set of grips.

I have a Taurus 66, but it's chromed, not S.S.
I has performed flawlessly over the 15 years or so that I've owned it. I "think" a speed loader for a S&W 19 or 66 will work, they seem to be the same size.

I have a Taurus 66 in SS with 6"bbl. Never had a problem with it & it shoots great. IMHO if you do hold out for a Smith, get an older one. The garbage Smith has been putting out is nowhere near the quality of their older guns And they want an arm & a leg for em...
I have to agree with Gianni, the Rugers are as tough as they come. A bit on the heavy side, but worth the $$$..

I had a 6" Rossi 972 that was a great shooter.
A friend has the Tracker in .41 Mag, we both like it. It's a little bigger and heavier in the frame and cylinder than the Rossi, if that matters to you.

I have trackers in 44 and 357, accurate, love them, no complaints.

I have a Tracker in 357 and love it. Seven shot with adjustable sights and factory grips that are extremely comfortable in my hands. I got mine at a gunshow used for 350. It was like new and I have been totally pleased with it. I agree with others in that the newer Smiths are over priced. The Tracker is a great value for the price.
