raging bull .454 groups

i put a crappy ncstar scope on it.
target @25 yds. forearms resting on table.
255lrn
8 gr. unique
single hole dia. .422
5 shots each group.

i am afraid to run full house 454casull loads through that gun with that scope on it.
i am pretty sure that would kill it.

You never know for sure, but you might be right. I killed a cheap Tasco one time with a SRH in 454, looking back on it, it was fun and taught me a lesson too.

Yup. I destroyed two cheap BSA pistol scopes with 10 shots from my Ruger SRH.

Looks like that revolver shoots pretty good. I hope to get to shoot my two "recently" acquired Raging Bulls (one a 5" and one an 8 3/8"). I have had them for several months but haven't had a chance to shoot them. Maybe next spring. Those groups sure are encouraging.
