I’ve been using the WL Carnauba Red for about 13yrs or so and have zero complaints. I’m just curious if anyone has been using the blue lube and how it compares to the red lube.

Flows at a lower temperature, haven't shot enough to form a definitive opinion. To be fair, most of my stuff is south of 1500 FPS.

They are both great. I used the red until the blue came along, since then I have used mostly the blue. Most of the time I can use it without heat and there is no noticeable performance difference in any of my loads.

Blue is next on my list to try as well, once I run low on what I've got.

I have never used the red but have used the blue for .308 loads in the 1600 to 1800 range. It works great for those loads.

Is it sticky? The red is very sticky.

The blue isn't very sticky. Use it a lot. Like it. Still one of my favorites is Ben's Red. Hard to beat.

My only complaint with the C Red is that it’s sticky, but other than that it’s GTG.

Use to use C red, but now use C blue for just about everything.

I started out with BAC and found it to be tacky but I do live in the state of South Sauna. I bought some Carnuba Blue and found it to be less tacky in my environment. If I lube any in the winter I'll still use a little heat for a better flow.

No leading to be seen though my revolvers typically don't foul. I PC probably 90% of my cast bullets so when I shoot lubed bullets it's funny how much smoke I see.

Joel, the blue lube is not tacky by any means. I store my bullets in a plastic jar that my wife gets gelato in and the blue doesn't stick to the jar.
My bullets are stored indoors in my reloading room and I usually load the day before shooting.

Thanks for the insight bud. Gonna give the blue a try.

Is there a reason you guys don't make it yourself? Beeswax, carnuba, and a few other household ingredients and you're there. Steal a few of your kids crayons for pretty color.

True, but I have so many irons in the fire that adding another one will be the straw that breaks the camel’s back lol
