does anybody know the rate of twist on the winchester 1885 ltd 45/90 ?

I believe Kenny is right 1/18 and I believe they are still Badger.
I got one from Davidsons earlier this year in the BPCR 50/90 and it is nice and shoots ever so good but the wood is nowhere near as nice as my Browning BPCR. The Browning in 45/70 I have had about 15 years and is also amazingly accurate. They make a nice couple though. I would like another in 40/65 but I think I have exasperated every imaginable excuse possible to get and keep the 50/90.
The ugly part about having a shop is that when someone is actually willing to pay the asking price you have to sell it. Some of the real interesting ones require much balistic investigation before they can be correctly priced though.
