I have been casting for my .357 MAX rifle using Lee's 358-200 LH mould. It's a gas check model. I am lubing and sizing using an old Lyman 45 lube sizer. I have been unable to find a nose punch for the lube sizer that won't deform the noses of my bullets. Can someone help me find a nose punch that will work for me? I have pretty much the same problem with Lee's 158 gr. bullets.

The Castpics reference doesn't shown one.
I usually go for what fits close, start with #311 & #429. #43 works as long as you don't have to put the TP into the size die itself.

Look in your stash for a punch that has a bigger flat spot on top and 'customize' it with a little blob of JB weld.

Run a well lubricated boolit about 1/2 way down, put the JB weld on the nose, and set the top punch down on it.
That's the official redneck method of 'get'n by'.:bigsmyl2:

Lee's 358-200 LH is that the C358-200-RF you could get away with a flat nose punch.

some clean the nose punch lightly lube the nose of the boolit they want apply hot glue to the nose of the boolit then lining up the boolit put the nose indention into the hot glue.
when the glus cools carve sand off the excess
