Has anyone used BR 5 in cast rifle loads? In theory it is between N350 and Unique, both of which have published loads for.

Interested in learning your experiences in 30 cal and up cast boolit loads.

Thanks

good question, maybe try something like 8.5 grains in a 30-30 load to start if it is supposed to be similar to unique.
does that sound logical or maybe just start out like with 10 grains.
I've had my eye on Jeff's br-5 that he sells, seems like a great deal.
I can remember over the years reading how a whole bunch of folks saying that the magic unique load for many common rifle loads, 30-309, 308, 30-06 and others is 10 grains unique.
I'm just guessing, I never use unique in rifle loads cuz ive always had lots of 4198 that shoots great in many many cast rifle loads that ive used.

I would like to hear about anyone’s experience with br5, rifle or pistol.

If you do a search for "BR5 in cast" you will get a lot of past posts about pistol loads. But no rifle loads. I am interested in .308 and .30-06.
