Why are .50 cal boolit molds seemingly unobtanium?

Looking for something in .512-.513 that I can cast for 50-110 WCF and size down for 500 Linebaugh. But nothing available anywhere it seems.

There probably isn't a big demand for them to start with.
Manufacturers will make a run they think will last awhile, then make big batches of what they sell the most of.

Like everything else right now- ya just have to wait until they get caught back up.
Or, get ahold of one of the custom mold maker places.

Accurate has lots of .50 cal. molds and if you don't find anything you like, Tom can produce a custom design for you affordably.

Accurate has a pile of 51 cal molds. Thats where I bought mine

I'd go with Accurate if NOE has none in stock. I am waiting right now on an order from them.

Went with Accurate and that 440 grain bullet. Not sure how it will do with the 50-110 Express rifling but its ideal for the Linebaugh with a 4" bbl (5.5" but the muzzle has Bowens counterbored compensator). Ordered 0.513 +.002 / -.000. Got a 0.510 Lee sizing die that I will dress out to 0.512 with emery paper on a dowel.
