I have no gun shows around me now, wandering what the going rate is on things. I know small pistol primers are as much as 300 a thou. What about large rifle and pistol primers ? whats powder at for 1 to 8 lb. jugs ? Are good rifle bullets hard to find to ? May have to sell some things but don't want to get shot for asking to much. Thanks for replies

I may be an optimist-- but I think things will settle down. Supplies are hard to find now because of the surge in gun and ammunition sales. As manufacturers catch up with the demand prices should go down some. But, of course, what do I know? Not much.

Went to a SD show yesterday, and saw tons of brass, some normal price, some noticeably higher. Only saw one table with some older primers at $150, and a lot of older boxed bullets and partial boxes, likely from estate sales, ect. Saw a 8 pounder of Unique for only $600, might still be there today. Saw lots of used dies, $25 and up. I think many people are getting interested in reloading again.

We are having our first local gun show in a year at the end of the month.
I am interested in seeing how high the gougers will be going.
Will report back later.

I hope the optimism above is really going to happen, but I am pretty sure if it gets better, it won’t be soon. We are just starting to see the beginnings of the new regime’s Second Amendment “strategy”.
