Hi everyone,

A friend of mine has a revolver that broke the cylinder pin during a range day. Yup something bad happened, and yes really a friends gun. Never the less is this something that is easy to replace or is the gun junk now? I've seen the part listed on EMF's website. https://www.emf-company.com/store/pc/-15-1851-60-61-Cylinder-Base-Pin-p1735.htm

Hope I'm not breaking any rules posting that.

But it looks like it might thread on, or is it a press fit? Anyone have a positive experience with this issue.

"Yup something bad happened" ? Depends on how hard it is to get #39 (will need one of these also) out and duplicate half hole in new pin or relocate. Access to a mill or a really good drill press? Then check fit of arbor to barrel for correct wedge fit.

The one you posted clearly screws in and is a Pietta part. Who made your friends gun and how is the base pin attached on that one?
